✦ Live: Friday, March 10 at 9 AM PST / 5 PM UTC
✦ Recommended Power Level: 1770
✦ Fireteam: 6-Players
✦ Contest Mode Ends: Sunday, March 12 at 10 AM PST / 6:00 PM UTC
- Contest Mode will be active for 48 hours.
- Please note, Daylight Savings is on March 12 for the United States, which will change the reset time to 10 AM PST.
✦ Power Required (all encounters): 1780
✦ Artifact: Enabled, Cap of 1780
✦ Contest Mode: All players are capped at 20 Power below each encounter during contest mode.
✦ Where will winners be announced: The first fireteam to complete the raid, loot the final chest, and return to orbit will be crowned the winner of the World First race once the team reviews their clear. Bungie will announce the winners on the official @DestinyTheGame account (please be patient as it will take them some time to validate everything).

Twitch Rivals – Twitch Drops
Twitch Drops are active for the Root of Nightmare Raid Race, here are the details on how to earn two exclusive emblems.
All fireteam members on the winning team will receive World First title belts.
Track your Dim Italics and Particle Acceleration Twitch Drops emblems progress at http://twitch.tv/drops/inventory.

Here’s a look at Bungie Rewards for Root of Nightmares. The jacket will be available to anyone who completes the raid before March 21. The raid pin and Dream Warrior title will be available to purchase throughout Season of Defiance.
