Raid Challenges
Raid FAQs
- As of Season 22, Crota's End raid is the Pinnacle raid. Which means it drops Pinnacle rewards for each completed encounter every week per character.
- All other raids grant Legendary Gear. All raids continue to drop their exclusive rewards (such as any raid exotics or Timelost weapons).
- Adept weapons for the Vow of the Disciple Master Challenge work on a knockout system and can only be obtained from the weekly Master challenge. After collecting all Adept raid weapons, randomly rolled versions will drop.
With Lightfall and Season 20, Raids now have the following added to modifiers:
- One Overcharged weapon.
- Two Surges.
- No Threat modifier.

MIDSEASON UPDATE PATCH NOTES

Seasonal Battlegrounds
- Fixed an issue where the Consecrated Essence could appear duplicated.
Crucible
Here is a look at what changes were made to the Crucible.
- Bungie has added a new 6v6 connection-based matchmaking (CBMM) Weekly Rotator with Clash, Zone Control, and Rift, while the 6v6 Party Rotator has been updated to Mayhem, Momentum Control, and Scorched.
- The tutorial crucible quest and a Competitive Division rank metric have been updated.
- Ascendant Competitive Division players can buy an emblem from Shaxx, and Glorious and Dredgen awarding/gilding issues have been fixed.
- Respawn overshield strength in Crucible has increased, and in Rift, players can’t dunk the Spark while moving faster than 15 meters per second or while using a Grapple ability, and activating Grapple no longer drops the Spark.
Vanguard Ops
Several fixes and improvements have arrived for Vanguard Ops, including the following:
- The weapon overcharge in Defiant Battlegrounds rotates weekly
- Bungie has added revive tokens when defeating Tormentors and Hive Guardians (in some activities)
- The Hive door locks in Heist Battlegrounds have fixed.
- Difficulty in Heist Battlegrounds has been adjusted in Vanguard and Nightfall playlists.
- The Arms Dealer activity has also been improved with fixes for a potential crash and a farming exploit.
Issues Fixed
- Raids and Dungeons: Update fixed several issues for Raids and Dungeons, including problems in the Duality dungeon and Root of Nightmares. The update addressed issues with teleportation, checkpoints, soft locks, visual effects, and casting wipes.
- Exotic Mission: Bungie addressed in issues where players could become trapped within walls after being pushed by Vex traps.
Fixed Issues (Armor and Weapons)
- The Peacekeepers’ reload perk now activates after stowing an energy slot SMG.
- Phoenix Cradle now consistently extends the Sol Invictus buff with Burning Maul equipped.
- Certain Gambit weapons now contribute to the Dark Age Arsenal Triumph.
PvE Primary Weapon Balance
- Increased the damage of the following weapon types against red and orange-bar enemies in PvE.
- Auto Rifles: 25%
- Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, and Sidearms: 20%
- Scout Rifles: 10%
Weapon Archetypes
- Ikelos SMGs: recoil adjusted to be in line with other Aggressive SMGs.
- Adept Exalted Truth Hand Cannon: fixed to have the same magazine size as the standard version.
- Rapid-Fire Fusion Rifles: damage buff per burst and per bolt (PvP only).
- Trace Rifles: base damage increased and precision hit multiplier and flinch reduced.
- Rapid-Fire Sniper Rifles: recoil reduced by 50% and total ammunition increased by 30%.
- Omolon Heavy Grenade Launchers: VFX issue fixed and Dimensional Hypotrochoid was changed to prevent it from dropping with a range masterwork.
Exotic Weapons
- Titan Barricades: can no longer be used to mark targets with Exotic Weapons.
- Tarrabah’s
- Ravenous Beast energy generated from taking damage is reduced from 3% to 1%.
- Zoom has been reduced from 16 to 15.
- Revision Zero
- Fourth Times the Charm will be reset when entering Hunter’s Trace.
- PvE damage of the Hunter’s Trace rounds is increased by 25%.
- PvE damage of the Häkke Heavy Burst rounds is increased by 75%.
Perks and Other Changes
- Wellspring perk: Enhanced version of Wellspring perk generates more energy now.
- Root of Nightmares Adept weapons: can now be upgraded with enhanced traits.
- Upgrades can be performed in the weapon details screen if Deepsight on weapons is unlocked
- Tooltips for Master dungeons have been fixed to list Artifice Armor as rewards.
Abilities, Bounties, and Pursuits
- Rally Barricade:
- Area of effect extended behind and above for easier buff access on uneven terrain
- Fixed issue where Stasis Shards didn’t grant melee ability energy with Sword or Glaive ready
- Jolt chain lightning can now target all PvE combatants.
- Fixed issue with uncharged melee attack while carrying Tangle
- Bounties and Pursuits: Fixed issue with Evidence Board interaction after completing Exotic Glaive pursuit
General Changes
- The Best Dressed Commendation has been added.
- Fixed bugs related to certain objectives not counting completions before reaching Guardian Rank 10.
- Players can now claim Patterns for their other characters after crafting their first Exotic Glaive from The Witch Queen.
- Veteran players will now receive the correct amount of lore books at Guardian Rank 7.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from progressing past Guardian Rank 3 if they had already purchased all available subclass Aspects.
