These modifiers are on certain activities such as Nightfall: The Ordeal, Lost Sectors, and Nightmare Hunts.
- Champions: All
- This mode contains Barrier, Unstoppable, and Overload Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Anti-Barrier, Unstoppable, or Overload mod, respectively.
- Champions: Overload
- This mode contains Overload Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Overload mod.
- Champions: Unstoppable
- This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.
- Champions: Barrier
- This mode contains Barrier Champions, which cannot be stopped without a Barrier mod.
- Champions: Mob
- This mode contains additional Champions.
- Hero Modifiers: Extra Shields
- Legend Modifiers: Locked Loadout, Match Game, Extra Shields.
- Master Modifiers: Extra Champions Locked Loadout Match Game Extra Shields
- Grandmaster Modifier: All of the following modifiers are enabled
- Extinguish, Limited Revives, Contest, Join In Progress Disabled Champions: Mob, Locked Loadout, Match Game Extra Shields.
- Equipment Locked/Locked Loadout: You will not be able to change your equipment after this activity starts.
- Attrition: Regeneration is greatly impaired. Defeating enemies may create wells of Light.
- Chaff: Radar is disabled.
- Contest Mode: The activity is at a fixed difficulty. Test your might.
- Join In Progress Disabled: Nobody can join team while in activity, you will have to go to Orbit for someone to join.
- Empath: Enhanced Radar. Take increased damage from melee.
- Match Game: Enemy shields are highly resistant to all unmatched elemental damage.
- Togetherness: Base health regen is reduced. If near another player, health regen is increased.
- Extinguish: If your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone, everyone is returned to orbit.
- Scorched Earth: Enemies throw grenades significantly more often.
- Master Modifier: All of the following modifiers are enabled – Champions: Mob, Locked Loadout, Match Game, Extra Shields.
- Martyr: Exploder units have more health.
- Air Superiority: Flying units do increased damage.
- Extinguish – If your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone, everyone is returned to Orbit.
- Limited Revives – Limited fireteam revives. Gain additional revives by defeating Champions.
- Arach-NO!: When defeated, Fallen Vandals spawn a web mine at their feet.
