News & Updates

Update 7.2.0.5 brought a few changes to Crota’s End raid.

Crota’s End loot pool has been modified to have a more balanced distribution of armor pieces. 

This change only affects armor. Weapon drops remain as before. 

Here is what armor now drops at each encounter:

  • First Encounter (Abyss): Helmet, Arms, Chest
  • Second Encounter (Bridge): Arms, Chest, Legs
  • Third Encounter (Ir Yut): Chest, Legs, Class Item
  • Final Encounter (Crota): Helmet, Legs, Class Item
  • Eidolon’s Ally can now be reacquired from Collections with the correct purchase requirements. 
  • Fixed the Spoils of Conquest Triumph to only require the player to find two hidden chests.
    • There was never a third chest to find.

Raid Chests & Deepsight Loot

Secret Chest #1

The first secret hidden chest in Crota’s End raid is located in The Stills.

After dropping into the pit, follow the left wall and look for a lit up door (once you find the correct door you will see the chest inside). Please note, the door may change if the activity is re-launched.

To get the first secret chest solo, grab a checkpoint (or you will need at least one other teammate to help build the bridge at the beginning of raid).

Secret Chest #2

The second chest is located after the bridge encounter and before entering the Ir Yut encounter. To get this chest one fireteam member must make it into the room at the end of the hallway before door closes (defeat shrikers to make this process more manageable).

Deepsight Loot

Each week, one Deepsight Resonance (red bordered) weapon may be purchased from the Sword raid vendor for 20 Spoils of Conquest (per account).

NOTE: Deepsight Resonance weapons can drop in place of raid weapons from encounter chests and secret chests.

Deepsight Puzzle Chest

Earn a guaranteed Deepsight Resonance (red bordered) weapon weekly by completing the Deepsight Puzzle (per account).
