Deep Stone Crypt Changes
Changes effective starting on: December 6, 2022
Legendary Deep Stone Crypt weapons can be crafted starting next Season!
Here a look at what else is changing:
- Each encounter has a chance to drop a Deepsight version of a raid weapon, and players may purchase one per week from the final chest after defeating Taniks.
- When Deep Stone Crypt is the featured raid of the week, encounter drops are uncapped! This means you can run a full raid and each encounter multiple times hunting for Deepsight drops (in other words, Deepsight weapons can be farmed when DSC is the weekly raid, when it is not the weekly raid Deepsight weapons can be earned once per week and per character).
- More perks will become available for Deep Stone Crypt weapons.
- I.e., new perk combinations could look like: Reconstruction + Focused Fury, or Fourth Time's the Charm + Redirection.
Vow of the Disciple rewards Pinnacle Gear (x4, one per encounter, per character each week) and Vault of Glass rewards Powerful Gear (Tier 3).
All other raids reward Legendary Gear. Raids still drop their exclusive rewards (such as raid exotics or Timelost weapons).
PAGES
Each week will feature a specific Timelost weapon, they rotate alongside the Master Vault of Glass weekly challenge.
Master Vault of Glass introduced Timelost weapons to Destiny 2. Timelost weapons can be comparable to Adept weaponry from Grandmaster Nightfalls or Flawless Trials Passages, but offer an additional perk in columns three and four for slightly more customization.
Each week will feature a specific Timelost weapon for you to hunt, rotating alongside the available challenge. Once you’ve earned a Timelost weapon, you may also purchase additional rolls from the chest at the end of the raid (on Master difficulty) using Spoils of Conquest (Cost 25 spoils). Note that these will be at a higher price than normal versions of these weapons.
Armor from the Master difficulty of Vault of Glass will focus on specific stats, rotating weekly.
This is how the Timelost Weapons rotate each week (one weapon and challenge per week):
- Confluxes (Vision of Confluence)
- Oracles (Praedyth's Revenge)
- Templar (Fatebringer)
- Gatekeeper (Hezen Vengeance)
- Atheon (Corrective Measure)
NOTE: Timelost weapons are only available from Master VoG challenge (they rotate weekly and these weapons come with a curated roll (the last perks can change)

VOG LOOT CHANGES HOTFIX 3.2.1.3
- Removed weapon drops from Master Vault of Glass encounter loot pools.
- Players are guaranteed to receive stat-focused armor from Master difficulty encounters.
- Master Vault of Glass loot lockouts have been separated from Normal.
- Both can now be looted independently each week.
- Drops will only be at Pinnacle Power from the first weekly clear of each encounter.
- For example, if you complete Oracles in Normal difficulty first it will award Pinnacle. If you later in that week complete Oracles on Master difficulty, it will award stat-focused armor but not at Pinnacle Power.

UPDATE:
Quality of Life Changes – Boosted Triumphs (Raids)

In the past year, the Raid and Dungeon team at Bungie added Triumphs to new raids and dungeons that give a higher chance of receiving Exotic weapon drops once completed. In Season 21, boosted Triumphs are being added to legacy content with randomly dropped Exotic weapons to match the standard for raids and dungeons. These Triumphs are retroactive, so if you’ve already completed them, you’ll immediately start getting a boost.

GUIDES
Deep Stone Crypt encounters require teammates to obtain augments (a new buff type that grants players a certain passive effect).
Here are the three augments:
- Scanner: This yellow, oval-shaped buff will denote critical raid objectives with a bright yellow outline.
- Operator: Denoted by a red human holding a diamond, Operators can interact with certain objects that are considered immune to others.
- Suppressor: A blue buff that looks similar to the raid logo. Introduced in the third encounter, Suppressors are capable of stunning the raid boss while standing under certain drones. The boss must be damaged while under three different drones for the stun to occur. Drones always appear in sets of three.
