Episodes

Starting in 2024, Bungie is changing how they tell stories and update content in Destiny 2. They’re swapping out Seasons for something called Episodes. Each Episode will have new story stuff and cool rewards like special missions, powerful weapons, and armor. These Episodes will be split into three parts, and every six weeks, a new part will come out. Each part will add new stories, quests, things to do, weapons, mods for gear, and rewards you can earn.

The first three Episodes, Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy, will kick off this new approach in The Final Shape year.
